All foundations (UK) fall into the administration

One of the 15 largest contractors in the country, All Foundations (UK) has collapsed in administration.

The Derbyshire-based contractor had sales of £ 13 million in the most recently reported accounts last year and a pre-tax profit of just over £ 100,000.

The Blackwell-based specialist employed around 60 people across the country.

The company made headlines a few years ago when one of its pile drivers broke the top of a busy British Rail tunnel near London’s Old Street Station and trains stopped running to Moorgate that morning after drills fell on the tracks.

FRP Advisory administrators take care of the company’s affairs.
