Materials company Brickability has bought a Hampshire roofing company for £ 5.5 million, the company’s twelfth acquisition in the past three years.
Founded in 1997 and based in Hook, Leadcraft had sales of £ 5.6m and profits of £ 1m in the year ended June 2021.
Alan Simpson, chief executive of Brickability, said the deal, which includes the acquisition of wood and facade company Taylor Maxwell, with sales of 250 million
He added, “This acquisition will further strengthen and diversify our offering as we lean on the V-shaped recovery in the construction sector.”
The transaction consists of an initial payment of £ 3.3 million with the remaining £ 2.2 million due over the next three years, of which £ 900,000 is subject to performance criteria.
