Butterscotch Pecan Blondies - The Southern Lady Cooks

These butterscotch pecan blondies are easy to make and absolutely delicious. They are the perfect addition to any gathering and kids love them. Most people love to make brownies, but these blondies are really good. Sometimes you just want something completely different, and butterscotch and pecans go so well together.

Butterscotch Pecan Blondies Ingredients Required:

butter

Brown sugar (light or dark)

White granulated sugar

Eggs

vanilla

baking powder

salt

flour

Butterscotch chips

Pecans

These blondies are made in a 9X13 so they make quite a few, but they never last long. I think the mix of brown sugar and white sugar makes this one so good. This is a mix between a brownie and a cake!

  • 1 Cup made of butter melted
  • 1/2 Cup of brown sugar light or dark
  • 1/2 Cup made from white granulated sugar
  • 2 Eggs
  • 1 teaspoon of vanilla
  • 2 teaspoon of baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon from salt
  • 2 cups of flour
  • 1/2 Cup of butterscotch chips
  • 1/2 Cup of pecans
  • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Line a 9X13 baking dish with parchment paper. Mix the melted butter, brown and white sugar in a bowl. Mix with a spoon.

  • Next, add eggs, vanilla, salt, baking soda, and flour. Keep mixing with a spoon until everything has combined. Next, fold in the butterscotch chips and pecans. I didn’t use a blender when I did this and it worked really well.

  • Next, squeeze the mixture into your 9X13 bowl. Bake for 30 minutes or until the test finishes in the middle. It’s a mix between a brownie and a piece of cake
