The 999 control officers from the London Fire Brigade took a series of calls as smoke rose from the high profile construction site.
Part of a roof terrace under construction on the first floor was damaged in a fire and a man was treated on site.

At 11:44 a.m. the brigade was called and in 1214 the fire was under control.
A spokesman for Lendlease said: “A fire on the terrace of a pavilion we are building in Elephant Park has been extinguished. A member of the construction team was treated on site and then taken to the hospital for a further preventive check-up.
“We would like to thank the emergency services for their quick and exceptional response. The cause of the fire is investigated comprehensively and comprehensively. “
