A year after the sale of their New York apartment block and the trip to Miami, real estate heir Joshua Kushner and supermodel Karlie Kloss move back to a $ 42.5 million penthouse on the historic Puck Building in Manhattan.
The couple has been engaged since 2018 and are set to buy the penthouse of the Puck building in Nolita, according to the Wall Street Journal. While the details of the sale are not public, the space was previously listed for $ 42.5 million.
The entire building was developed by Kushner Co., the real estate company that was once run by Kushner’s brother and son-in-law of former President Donald Trump, Jared Kushner. It is known in the building as Penthouse No. 1 and has more than 7,200 square meters (including 5,100 outdoor terraces and balconies). The interiors include five bedrooms, seven and a half bathrooms, barrel vaults, a library, and a home theater.
Adam Modlin of the Modlin Group worked with Kushner and Kloss. The apartment was first listed for $ 66 million in 2015 and launched in March 2019 for $ 42.5 million. A spokesman said that diary that it had been rented for $ 1.25 million a year between then and now. In the first few months of the pandemic, the couple sold a smaller apartment in the same building and bought a 14,000-square-foot mansion in Miami Beach for $ 23.5 million but obviously couldn’t stay away long.
The son of billionaire real estate developer Charles Kushner, Josh Kushner, 36, does not currently have a stake in his brother’s real estate company and instead runs the venture capital firm Thrive Capital. A former Victoria’s Secret Angel, Kloss, 29, has modeled for brands like Versace, Dior, Calvin Klein and Estée Lauder. They had their first child, Levi Kushner, in early 2021.
