Keltbray loots multiplex for new technical director | news

Keltbray has appointed Multiplex’s former technical director as the group’s new technical director.

Craig Moorfield, who joined Keltbray yesterday, will also serve on the board of directors reporting directly to CEO Darren James.

Moorfield will lead Keltbray’s engineering, research and development, and innovation performance.

In addition, he assumes group-wide responsibility for the corresponding technical and technical safeguards.

Moorfield has been involved in the design and construction of a number of projects including commercial and high-rise buildings, stadiums and airports in Australia, the Middle East and Europe.

He has also led the development of innovative design methods and analysis techniques.

James said: “[Moorfield] has a reputation in the industry as the leading technical expert in the sustainable design and delivery of complex buildings and infrastructures, and his appointment marks a decisive shift in our technical ambitions. “

Prior to joining Mutliplex for six years, Moorfield spent one year as capital project and infrastructure manager for PWC in the United Arab Emirates and six years as senior civil engineer with Robert Bird Group in Australia.
