I dream of the day I have a nice relaxing bathroom to unwind at the end of the day. I’m not sure you noticed, but I never show our restrooms here on the farm, and that’s on purpose. We currently don’t really have a finished bathroom room in our home at White Cottage Farm. We have three and a half bathrooms and only that little toilet looks reasonably good these days. Our indecision of whether to keep our original floor plan or keep the changing rooms has kept us from renovating the bathroom rooms, but I have a feeling a lovely master bathroom is coming soon so stay tuned!
The bathrooms are in the same condition as what we bought except for the toilet in the bathroom. After years of being in the house, we made this bathroom pretty so that at least our guests could have a nice bathroom. You can see where we started with this bathroom [HERE] It’s pretty cool to look back on and I feel like we’ve come a long way just doing a little at a time. I teamed up with Serena and Lily to freshen up this space today and fill it with pretty bedding for the guests so I thought I’d give you a little tour!
While we’re not quite ready to start renovating our bathroom which will go into our master bedroom. It’s on our list of things to do very soon! Of course, I’m always looking for inspiration, design processes, and decor for upcoming projects. I wanted to have a healthy supply of towels and for the guests as we now have the pool for them to use when they visit.
A note about bed linen
Bedding is a big part of a comfortable lifestyle. It is the fabric that you feel as you crawl into bed and that comforts you every day. Serena and Lily have a wide variety of bed linen. I had to pick up a few to start our bathroom collection. I chose the St. Helena Bath collection and I have to say the quality is amazing! Every day when I take a shower I feel like I am instantly wrapped in a spa towel. One side of the towels is a waffle weave and the other side is cotton terry. I love to have nice & cozy towels not only for me, but also for our guests, so that they feel comfortable and welcome in our house.
Of course, I also had to bring some towels for Cope! They have some great kids towels that are oh so cozy. The Priano Hooded Towel is also double-sided, with one side made of cotton muslin and the other made of super soft cotton terrycloth. He loves putting on hooded towels and walking around. One day he’s a superhero and the next day he’s Elsa. I love that it is cozy and feels cool too!
I also grabbed the matching St. Helena slippers, because who doesn’t need cozy slippers?
While I decided to only use bedding on my order, while on the Serena and Lily I saw so many other great bathroom accessories that would be great for a bathroom. I love the braided scallop basket. I can imagine using it either for towel storage or even as a laundry basket.
