Days after announcing its expansion into Vancouver, Canada, The Agency is opening another office across the continent in Boston.
The new office, located at 435 Columbus Avenue in the city, is the company’s 22nd franchise in North America. Local agent and new managing partner Eric Rollo has been appointed to lead the new agent team for Greater Boston, Cape Cod, Nantucket and Martha’s Vineyard.
“We are very excited to be working with Eric Rollo and launching our new franchise in Boston as we expand our brand’s presence on the East Coast,” said Mauricio Umansky, CEO and founder of the agency, in a press release. “Eric will be a wonderful steward of our unique agency culture as he adds like-minded professionals to his team.”
Founded in 2011 by Umansky, The Agency started out as a boutique agency targeting LA’s overbearing shoppers. Since then, they have expanded to numerous cities in the United States, Canada, Mexico, and the Caribbean – future plans include opening a franchise in Montreal this fall. The agency also made it onto the 2021 Inc. 5000 list of Fastest Growing Companies in the United States, ranking # 4,485.
Rollo, who has worked in the real estate business for 15 years and earned a Masters degree from Northwestern University, joins The Agency from William Raveis. In 2015 Realtor Magazine named him one of the “30 Under 30”.
“I am excited to join The Agency and begin this next chapter in my career,” said Rollo in a press release. “I have long admired The Agency’s unique brand and culture and look forward to taking my business to the next level with the brand’s unparalleled marketing, technology offerings and forward-thinking approach to luxury real estate.”
