Usherpa is a service for creating and distributing marketing materials for real estate agents.

Platforms: Browser
Ideal for: New and medium-sized agents

Top selling points:

  • Marketing automation
  • Rooted in real estate
  • Multiple lead-source connections
  • Consistent after-sales marketing
  • Simple, productive CRM

Main concern:

There are a lot of good things here, but they are all things that well-known CRM and marketing solutions offer, but at a higher price. So Usherpa is best suited for new agents who need to deliver services across multiple channels as opposed to established agents and top producers who can run much more targeted, streamlined marketing campaigns.

What you should know

Usherpa automates marketing for real estate agents. It can handle email campaigns with a range of custom, localized newsletter content, printing and sending postcards and social media appearances.

While the value proposition isn’t entirely new, there are some cool add-ons here that should entice agents into starting their marketing for a second look.

It’s worth noting that this is a family business and its founder has extensive experience in credit and real estate lead generation and sales.

That should mean a few things for you, such as knowing what kind of market intelligence is driving consumers to action, why it is important to keep in touch with buyers after you close, and why real estate agents are lending and lending their peers as well other related areas should make intensive use of fringe benefits. The functions of the software are based on these concepts.

The application showed no complexity in operation, with easy-to-recognize functions and a modern user interface. The look of the newsletters wasn’t particularly exciting, however; they could use some graphic design updates. The theme is solid, however, with specific designs for long term sales prospects, buyers, contact birthdays, holidays, and so on.

Usherpa also has in-house staff to help with database import, including compilation from multiple sources if required. All you have to do is send them a file.

Usherpa also offers social media marketing and statistics for tracking post performance.

By integrating with the ever-popular BombBomb, users can distribute video email messages for campaigns or as more personal one-on-one emails.

The CRM was a surprisingly nice touch. It’s clean and focused, and distributes information about leads, customers, prospects, and business partners in easy-to-read cards on the screen.

The My Radar module helps users understand exactly what they are about to do, from tasks and campaign start dates to upcoming events.

Usherpa has an open API and also works with Zapier, so you have a lot of flexibility to work with other systems in case you are not excited about marketing your broker-provided solution.

I think this software is good for new agents as it is based on lead generation and nurturing – which means it can help build a database pretty quickly. It is supported by the fact that it is practically omnichannel; It distributes marketing across print, social, web, and email. There are also many metrics and reports.

I think the name is pretty apt as Usherpa weighs in well with the weight of your marketing endeavors. However, make sure you are organized as it is easy to see all of these cool tools and send things to contacts without any strategy whatsoever.
